STYLE CAPTURE

It's true to say that talent's every where in London. One late night a few weeks ago on a tube home after an event myself and Alex randomly met a couple of people on the tube. Alex thought he recognised someone he knew which he does but it ended up being his friends twin brother now that what was a funny introduction! Moving on, so Alex mates twin brother is a video production director and his mate happens to be a photographer.

The photographer goes by the name Charlotte Eve Streeter, as she pulled out her business card we were both instantly impressed with her work, charming, she asked us to attend her graduate show for Westminster University for Free Range. Alex and myself tried to attend the private view for but it never happened. How ever, we really liked her work and we will let you into a secret we are collaborating on a small project that we will let you know about soon obviously with some cool photographs to view watch out for the magic as they say, but for now check Charlottes work out.

SS12 shows part 2 Paris

We could of literally posted most of the Paris shows as we felt they were pretty strong and really brave. Expect lots of suiting with experimental details teamed with light sports wear inspired jackets as a layering option. The SS12 season is all about colour, from subtle pale greens to the bold Masai colour from Louis Vuitton it was cool to get a glimpse of technical knits to form striking bold structures and splashes of radical graphic prints whether captured on trousers, shirts, jackets and tops, seen at Mulger and Givenchy.

COLOUR FOR THE DIGITAL ERA

Mugler

Designer, Nicola Formaichetti, said of the mint hue 'that green represented the blood of the digital era. If this technology has a kind

of color, for me it was a neon green."

STYLE TRACK OF THE DAY

We both saw this newly signed band live at the Break Out music industry event at Proud Gallery. They had something interesting that caught our eye, with a cool look I found the glow in the dark logo design and the sound quite powerful, The sound was a mix of Drum & Bass/Dubstep and 1990's dark electro and soulful/dark lyrics. We found them pretty cool interms of sound and look take a listen, what do you think?

NEW BRAND MIKO SPINELLI

I came across this cool menswear brand based in London Miko Spinelli, your thinking who right? Well he's a musician/artist I thought the name was a little bit hmmmmm but I checked the jackets and the other accessories the brand offers and I'm really impressed!

Natura Jacket

The Autumn Winter 11/12 collection represents Miko's creativity and multicultural inspiration of cultures and traditions. Miko artistic inspiration and exploration focuses on the blending of Nature, Ancient Wisdoms, Healing Arts, Cultural Traditions, Contemporary Cultural-Social trends, Science, Sustainable Living and Technological advancement for the better of our Planet and inhabitants.

Cielo Jacket

A strong influence on print is the basis for this collection. The core reference points are prints from the far East. Natura Jacket features beautifully decorated  tapestry fabric on the outside shell, green nylon lining, a cream soft rib on the collar, cuff and waist.
Where as the Cielo Jacket is one of the most chic Jacket of the all collection. It features beautifully decorated  tapestry fabric on the outside shell, pink nylon lining, a cream soft rib on the collar, cuff and waist. It has two outside pocket and one on the inside. It comes into two fit: one more loose and one more fitted; with zip or press studs available in S,M,L and XL.
I was instantly drawn to the detail and the colour palette of the collection a smile and thought in a flash back to the early 1990's Versace prints. A strong cut I think these could be a great edition to your wardrobe for the next few seasons as prints are going to big for spring summer next year.
Keeping the look really clean, style with a crispy slim fitting trouser (not a chino) a t-shirt in a bold colour, and if your brave enough, a pattern shirt for the ultimate cool pattern clash. To finish the look put together a contemporay mixed shoe like these Prada's below. Check the video from Miko for some other cool styling looks and jacket variations. Whether your going for a dressed up look or dressing it down these jackets will equally make you stand out and instantly look cool.
