TOPMAN S/S 12

So I had a quick look at the Topman S/S12 lookbook a while ago and liked elements of it in particular the highlighted selections the collection is based around cool pieces exploring colour and print which I'm all for.

You have probably heard me say in previous posts, that I'm a huge fan of prints is it adds a bit of exuberance into a wardrobe. I don't know what it is about the leopard print but I'm sure it's the boldness which states luxury and distinctness, it's a classic yet a modern print, that I'm drawn too. I personally think it looks great in small elements like in images two and three, layered under a bold or subtle simple style jumper or jacket it just works.

The varsity bomber style jacket in my eyes is today's  modern mans jacket it's just so adaptable. You  can wear this type of jacket with a shirt, jumper, cardigan, t-shirt or add scarf for layering for winter. I'm very particular about these types of jacket though detailing comes into mind, I always look out for pocket detailing, making sure it fits well and the comfort factor. I hate a woolen fabric that fluffs and bobbles. And lastly I always pay particular attention to the sleeves making sure faux leather sleeves look like real leather. I think this version by Topman seems to nail
it.
